Diese Internationale Norm legt zwei Prüfverfahren für die Bewertung der antimikrobiellen Wirkung von Produkten, die zur chemischen Kontaktlinsendesinfektion oder als Teil eines Kontaktlinsenpflegesystems vermarktet werden sollen, fest. Diese Internationale Norm ist nicht anwendbar für das Hygienemanagement von Anpasslinsen. ANMERKUNG Allgemeine Normen für Desinfektionsmittel, wie z. B. EN 1040:1997 und EN 1275:1997, sind auf Kontaktlinsenpflegemittel nicht anwendbar.
