Diese ÖNORM ist für mechanische und elektromechanische Einsteckschlösser mit Falle und/oder Riegel und für Schließbleche für gefälzte und stumpfe (ungefälzte) Innentüren gemäß der ÖNORM B 5330 Serie und Außentüren gemäß ÖNORM B 5339, sowie ÖNORM B 5335 anzuwenden. Mehrfachverriegelungen nach ÖNORM EN 15685 fallen nicht unter diese Norm.
