Diese Norm ist zur Bestimmung der hydraulischen Leitfähigkeit von gesättigten Stechzylinderproben nach dem Fließgesetz von Darcy anzuwenden. Diese Methode ist nur bei Vorliegen laminarer Strömung anwendbar. Die Bestimmung kann mit konstanter sowie mit fallender Druckhöhe durchgeführt werden. Beide Verfahren sind gleichwertig.
