Diese Norm legt zwei Verfahren zum Bestimmen der Durchlässigkeit für Kohlenstoffdioxid von Beschichtungen, Beschichtungssystemen und ähnlichen Produkten fest, die für mineralische Untergründe und Beton im Außenbereich vorgesehen sind. Die Verfahren sind auf Beschichtungen und Beschichtungssysteme für poröse Untergründe, zB Gips, Beton u. dgl. anwendbar.
