Diese Europäische Norm legt zulässige Abweichungen für Dicken und Breiten bei einem Bezugsfeuchtegehalt und Anpassungen für Maßänderungen aufgrund von Änderungen im Feuchtegehalt fest. Vorzugsmaße für Dicken ab 38 mm sind ebenfalls aufgeführt. Diese Norm gilt für Nadelschnittholz. Ein informativer Anhang gibt zusätzliche nationale Maße an.
