Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Herstellung zylindrischer Probekörper mit einer zuvor festgelegten Dichte durch Verdichten mit einem Proctorgerät oder einem Vibrationstisch fest. Das Verfahren ist für Gemische oder Teile eines Gemisches mit Korngrößen von maximal 31,5 mm geeignet.
