Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren zur Herstellung von Probekörpern mit bestimmten, zuvor festgelegten Werten für Dichte und Wassergehalt durch eine Verdichtung unter kombinierter Anwendung von Rütteln und Druck fest. Sie ist für Gemische oder den Teil eines Gemisches mit einer Korngröße von maximal 31,5 mm geeignet. Das Verfahren ist nicht auf Gemische mit hohem Feinkornanteil anwendbar.
