Diese Europäische Norm legt Klassen für die Sortierung von europäischer Fichte und Tanne nach dem Aussehen nach den in EN 1611-1 vorgegebenen Allgemeinregeln für Nadelschnittholz fest. Diese Norm gilt für ungetrocknetes und getrocknetes Holz. Diese Norm gilt nicht für die Festigkeitssortierung von Bauholz.
