Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Polyvinylchlorid-(P VC)-Gehaltes in Rücklaufmaterial und Recyclat aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U) oder Produkten aus PVC-U fest. In dieser Norm wird nur das Verfahren zur Berechnung des PVC-Gehaltes beschrieben. Zur Bestimmung des Chlorgehaltes wird auf prEN ISO 1 158:1997 verwiesen. Wenn der Werkstoff chloriertes Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-C) oder chloriertes Polyethylen (PE-C) enthält oder dies vermutet wird, wird der scheinbare PVC-Gehalt berechnet.
