Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften von festen Steckverbindern mit quadratischem Montageflansch mit integriertem Endgehäuse in der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest. Es ist anwendbar für die in Tabelle 3 festgelegten Klassen. Für Kontakte und Blindstopfen für diesen festen Steckverbinder siehe EN 2997-002. Für freie Steckverbinder siehe EN 2997-008 sowie EN 2997-016 und für Schutzkappen siehe EN 2997-009.
