Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Blinddosen in der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteck-verbinder mit dreigängiger Gewinde-Schnellkupplung fest. Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 3 angegebenen Bauformen. Hinsichtlich der freien Steckverbinder und Schutzkappen siehe EN 3645-006, EN 3645-008, EN 3645-011 und EN 3645-012. Diese Blinddosen wurden von den Blinddosen in der Spezifikation MIL-DTL-38999/22 abgeleitet.
