Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm EN 40 legt Anforderungen für Lichtmaste aus Stahlbeton und Spannbeton fest. Er umfaßt auch Werkstoffe und Prüfverfahren. Er gilt für gerade Maste für Aufsatzleuchten mit einer Höhe bis zu 20 m sowie für Auslegermaste für Ansatzleuchten mit einer Höhe bis zu 18 m.
