Festgelegt sind die Anforderungen an selbstsichernde Zwölfkantmuttern aus hochwarmfestem Stahl FE-PA92HT (A286) und mit versilbertem Gewinde. Die Festlegungen gelten für die Festigkeitsklasse 1100 MPa (bei Raumtemperatur) und einer maximalen Prüftemperatur bei 650 °C.
