Dieser Teil von ISO 12127 legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Wärmedurchgangs fest. Er ist auf Schutzkleidung (einschließlich Handschützer) oder deren Materialien anwendbar, die für den Schutz gegen hohe Kontakttemperaturen gedacht sind. Die Anwendung dieses Teils von ISO 12127 ist auf Kontakttemperaturen zwischen 100 °C und 500 °C beschränkt.
