Festgelegt sind die Maße und mechanischen Eigenschaften für geschlossene Blindnieten mit Sollbruchdorn und Senkkopf, mit einer Niethülse aus Aluminiumlegierung (AlA) und einem Nietdorn aus Stahl (St). Die Festlegungen gelten für einen Nenndurchmesserbereich von 3,2 mm bis 4,8 mm.
