Festgelegt sind die Maße und mechanischen Eigenschaften sowie Anwendungsdaten für offene Blindniete mit Sollbruchdorn und Flachkopf, mit einer Niethülse aus Aluminiumlegierung (AlA) und einem Nietdorn aus Stahl (St). Die Festlegungen gelten für den Nenndurchmesserbereich von 2,4 mm bis 6,4 mm.
