Festgelegt sind die Maße und mechanischen Eigenschaften sowie Anwendungsdaten für geschlossene Blindniete mit Sollbruchdorn und Flachkopf, mit einer Niethülse aus nicht rostendem austenitischem Stahl (A2) und einem Nietdorn aus nicht rostendem Stahl (SSt). Die Festlegungen gelten für den Nenndurchmesserbereich von 3,2 mm bis 6,4 mm.
