Dieses Dokument legt ein Ameisensäure-Verfahren fest zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Massenanteils an Polyamidfasern, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Begleitstoffe, in Textilien aus Mischungen aus - Polyamid mit - Baumwolle, Viskose, Cupro, Modal, Lyocell, Polyester, Polypropylen, Chlorfaser, Polyacryl, Glasfaser, Elastomultiester, Elastolefin und Melamin oder - Wolle (sofern der Gesamtgehalt an Wolle kleiner oder gleich 25 % beträgt) oder Tierhaarfasern. Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar, wenn der Gesamtgehalt an Wolle 25 % übersteigt; dann gilt ISO 1833-4.
