ÖNORM EN ISO 21079-1 legt chemische Analysenverfahren für feuerfeste Erzeugnisse und Rohstoffe fest, die AZS (Aluminiumoxid, Zirkoniumoxid und Silicium(IV)-oxid) enthalten, indem traditionelle (nasschemische) Verfahren, die ICP-AE-Spektrometrie und die FAA-Spektrometrie angewendet werden. Der Bereich der Bestimmung ist in Tabelle 1 angegeben. Diese Norm gilt nicht für feuerfeste Erzeugnisse, die auf MgO basieren.
