Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren unter Verwendung der Atomabsorptionsspektrometrie fest zur Bestimmung der Gehalte an Calcium (Ca), Kupfer (Cu), Eisen (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Mangan (Mn), Kalium (K), Natrium (Na) und Zink (Zn) in Tierfuttermitteln. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar auf alle Tierfuttermittel. Für die entsprechenden Elemente gibt es folgende Bestimmungsgrenzen: K und Na: 500 mg/kg; Ca und Mg: 50 mg/kg; Cu, Fe, Mn und Zn: 5 mg/kg.
