Táto norma sa vzťahuje na telematické systémy v cestnej doprave a prevádzke: - s pripojením vysokofrekvenčného výstupu na určenú anténu alebo s integrálnou anténou, - výlučne na prenos dát, - pracujúcich na frekvenciách vo frekvenčnom pásme 5 725 MHz až 5 875 MHz určenom pre priemyselné, vedecké a zdravotnícke (ISM) zariadenia.
