Das Unique Device Identification System (UDI) ist ein System zur weltweit eindeutigen Identifikation von Medizinprodukten mittels Strichcode, das mit Inkrafttreten der neuen europäischen Gesetzgebung für Medizinprodukte eingeführt werden soll. Der Beuth-Praxis-Band vermittelt grundlegende Details zu den Vorgaben zu UDI und erhält praktische Empfehlungen für die schrittweise Realisierung.
