Der Sachstandbericht "Bauen im Bestand - Teil I" beinhaltet die Umrechnung von aus der Herstellzeit dokumentierten mechanischen Materialkennwerten auf Größen, wie sie zur Anwendung von DIN EN 1992 (Eurocode 2) benötigt werden. Die Gliederung orientiert sich in Kapitel 3 an Eurocode 2. Zusätzlich werden in Kapitel 4 Kennwerte älterer Spannsysteme mitgeteilt. In einem Anhang werden Hintergründe zu getroffenen Annahmen und Festlegungen erläutert. Der Sachstandbericht baut auf das DAfStb-Forschungsvorhaben V 480 auf, das im Jahr 2014 an der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern und von Zilch + Müller Ingenieure GmbH, München durchgeführt worden ist.
