Um die Basis für eine Vereinheitlichung von Prüfverfahren zur Beurteilung des Säurewiderstands von Beton zu schaffen, sind im Sachstandbericht ausgewählte Verfahren zur Prüfung des Säurewiderstands sowie zahlreiche Erkenntnisse und Untersuchungen zum Säurewiderstand von Beton zusammengestellt. Aufbauend auf der Darstellung der beim lösenden Säureangriff ablaufenden Schädigungsmechanismen werden basierend auf in der Literatur dokumentierten Untersuchungen maßgebliche Einflussfaktoren auf den Schädigungsprozess identifiziert und erläutert. Darüber hinaus werden gängige Kriterien zur Bewertung des Säurewiderstands zusammengestellt und die Aussagekraft und Vergleichbarkeit betrachtet. Nachfolgend werden ausgewählte Prüfverfahren dargestellt und auf der Grundlage der vorherigen Erkenntnisse zu Einflussfaktoren und Beurteilungskriterien diskutiert.
