Der Beuth-Praxis-Band "Rauheitsmessung" hat sich als praxisorientierte Einführung in die Oberflächenmesstechnik bewährt. Das jetzt in dritter Auflage vorliegende Werk wurde unter Berücksichtigung des aktuellen Stands der GPS-Normung überarbeitet. Der Autor erläutert in anschaulicher Form die Anforderungen an moderne Rauheitsmessgeräte, gibt Hinweise zum richtigen Einsatz in der Praxis und interpretiert die Messergebnisse der einschlägigen nationalen und internationalen Normen. Sachkundige, leicht verständlich geschriebene Kommentare machen den Zusammenhang zwischen den verschiedenen Normen zur Oberflächenbeschaffenheit deutlich. Gleichzeitig gibt der Autor einen ersten Ausblick auf die derzeit laufende Entwicklung von internationalen Normen, die für eine bessere Übersichtlichkeit sorgen sollen.
