Der neue Band 5 der Serie "Baulicher Brandschutz im Bestand" befasst sich mit ausgewählten historischen Technischen Baubestimmungen aus den Jahren 1925 bis 2000, die in der damaligen Zeit als Ergänzung zur Musterbauordnung die brandschutztechnischen Anforderungen an Baustoffe und Bauteile für Leitungs- und Lüftungsanlagen sowie für Flächen für die Feuerwehr auf Grundstücken enthielten. Der Autor erweitert mit diesen Erörterungen seine bisher aus vier Bänden bestehenden Ausführungen zur brandschutztechnischen Beurteilung von bestehenden Bauteilen in Deutschland. Diese historischen Dokumente sind hilfreich für das Erkennen eines Bestandsschutzes, für den Handlungsbedarf bei der Erarbeitung eines Brandschutzkonzeptes und bei der Umsetzung brandschutztechnischer Maßnahmen.
