The purpose of this standard is to provide a uniform, easily fabricated set of serrations that can be made by several manufacturing processes.The pitches included are 10/20, 16/32, 24/48, 32/64, 40/80, 48/96, 64/128, 80/160, and 128/256, complete from 6 to 100 teeth only for the first three. The scope is from 0.10 diameter to 10.00 diameter.
