1.1 This specification covers annealed, drawn, or rolled shapes for electrical heating purposes, of alloys having the nominal compositions of 80 % nickel and 20 % chromium; 60 % nickel, 16 % chromium, and remainder iron; and 35 % nickel, 20 % chromium, and remainder iron; 38 % nickel, 21 % chromium, and remainder iron; and 35 % nickel, 20 % chromium remainder iron. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. |
