1.1 This test method covers the determination of the lime content of soil-lime mixtures sampled from a project under construction or at the pug-mill, or both. 1.2 In soils with highly variable amounts of CaCo3 (such as caliche), it may be difficult to obtain a representative sample. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. 1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
