These test methods cover the determination of the content of 5-ethylidenenorbornene (ENB) or dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) in ethylene-propylene-diene (EPDM) terpolymers. They are applicable to diene contents in the 0.1 to 10 mass % range. The different apparatus used for testing are presented in details. The methods for the preparation of the test specimen are presented in details. The precision and bias for ENB shall be prepared to meet the requirements prescribed.
