Significance and Use

Sulfur can be a catalyst poison in the aromatic chemical manufacturing process. This test method can be used to monitor the amount of sulfur in aromatic hydrocarbons. 1. Scope

1.1 This test method covers the determination of sulfur in aromatic hydrocarbons, their derivatives, and related chemicals having typical sulfur concentrations from 0.020 to to 10mg/kg.
