This specification covers separable single-circuit thermocouple connectors with two round pins. The widespread use of thermocouple connectors requires standardization of mating dimensions and performance characteristics. Contact resistance test, thermal gradient test, and insulation resistance test shall be performed to meet the requirements prescribed.
