vztahuje na pojistné ventily a skládá se ze samostatných následujících částí se společným názvem Průmyslové armatury. Pojistné ventily: Část 1: Termíny a definice, Část 2: Technické požadavky, Část 3: Výpočet výtoku, Část 4: Typové zkoušky. Části 2 - 4 nebyly do 1.10.1994 k dispozici. Tato norma stanoví termíny a definice pojistných ventilů a to jejich hlavních druhů, funkčních veličin nebo vlastností a hlavních součástí. Norma je pro názornost doplněna vzorovými schématy funkcí, doporučenými symboly hlavních funkčních veličin a schématy vzorových konstrukcí s pojmenováním hlavních dílů.
