Norma stanovuje technické požadavky na dopravní pásy s textilní kostrou s hladkým povrchem a krycími vrstvami z gumy, odolné proti zvýšeným teplotám. Základní ustanovení, týkající se dopravních pásů, jsou uvedena v ČSN 26 0378. V normalizovaných všeobecných a technických požadavcích nejsou uvedeny takové, které by měly přímý vztah k riziku požáru. ČSN 26 0382 byla schválena 14.5.1990 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.4.1991. Nahradila ČSN 26 0382 z 17.6.1976
