Norma platí pro chemický rozbor cínowolframových rud a koncentrátů a určuje stanovení vlhkostí vážkovou metodou. Při provádění rozboru musí být dodržena všechna ustanovení podle ČSN 44 1701. Podstata metody: Vzorek se suší při předepsané teplotě do konstantní hmotnosti. Úbytek hmotnosti odpovídá hygroskopické vlhkosti. ČSN 44 1501 byla schválena 20.7.1990 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.7.1991. Spolu s ČSN 44 15O2 až ČSN 44 1523 nahradila ČSN 44 1638 z 8.7.1970 a ČSN 44 1639 z 8.7.1970
