Norma platí pro chemický rozbor olověných koncentrátů a určuje stanovení germania metodou fotometrickou. Podstata metody: Po kyselinovém rozkladu vzorku se germanium oddělí destilací z azeotropické směsi kyseliny chlorovodíkové a stanoví fotometricky fenylfluoronem. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 44 1767 byla schválena 14.3.1988 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.5.1989. Nahradila ČSN 44 1656 z 23.7.1969 v části II oddíl N a spolu s ČSN 44 1701, ČSN 44 1760 až ČSN 44 1766, a ČSN 44 1769 až ČSN 44 1778 ji nahradila v celém rozsahu
