Norma stanoví podmínky pro veškeré dodávky luštěnin krmných. Za luštěniny krmné se považují tyto druhy luštěnin: Hrách setý (Pisum sativum L.), čočka jedlá (Lens esculenta Moench.), fazol obecný (Phascolus vulgaris L.), bob obecný (Faba vulgaris Moench.), peluška jarní (Pisum sativum L., subsp. sativum convar. speciosum /Dierb.), vlčí bob bílý (lupina bílá) (Lupinus albus L.) a vikev (Vicia L.), tj. vikev panonská (V. pannonica Crantz), vikev huňatá (V. villosa Roth) a vikev setá (V. sativa L.), cizrna (Cicer arietinum). Proti předchozí normě dochází ke změně způsobu posuzování dle nové legislativy EU a národní legislativy.
