Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 3812-82 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR doplnil jeden článek, který se nevztahuje k ochraně zdraví. Norma RVHP určuje podmínky přípravy a vulkanizace kaučukových směsí, které jsou nutné pro hodnocení a srovnání jakosti kaučuků a výsledků zkoušení pryží. Dále určuje požadavky na zkušební zařízení. Norma neřeší, neobsahuje ani se nedotýká ochrany zdraví, a to ani pokud jde o nebezpečí práce na mísicích strojích a kalandrech, ani nebezpečí používaných chemických sloučenin. ČSN 62 1425 byla schválena 6.10.1983 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1985. Nahradila ČSN 62 1425 z r.1980
