Norma popisuje postup stanovení korozivnosti vodných emulzí připravených z emulgačních olejů nebo plastických maziv (dále jen vodné emulze), používaných při obrábění, popř. používaných i jako tlakových kapalin, na litině. Podstata zkoušky: Zkouška spočívá v přípravě emulze a zkušebních destiček, nasypání ocelových třísek na destičku a nalití zkoušené emulze. Zkušební destička se pak podle tabulek v normě vyhodnotí z hlediska důlkové koroze a vzniku korozivních skvrn. Norma obsahuje seznam citovaných a souvisejících norem. Norma byla porovnána s IP 125:2002.
