Tato norma stanovuje požadavky a metody zkoušení na bioethanol pro přípravu motorového paliva Ethanol E95, které je po přidání vhodných přísad určeno k užití ve vznětových motorech určených pro toto palivo. Konečnou formulaci paliva je nutno stanovit na základě provedených ověřovacích zkoušek. Tato norma nestanovuje typ a množství přísady pro zlepšení schopnosti vznícení používané v tomto palivu ani dalších typů používaných přísad.
