Tato norma určuje metodu stanovení aktivního kyslíku v pracích prášcích. Metodu lze použít pro stanovení peroxyhydrátů, např. perboritanu sodného; nelze ji použít pro prací prášky, které navíc obsahují látky reagující v kyselém prostředí s manganistanem. Metoda může být použita v přítomnosti ethylendiamintetraoctové kyseliny (EDTA) nebo jiných chelatačních činidel téhož typu, jestliže jejich koncentrace nepřekročí 1 % (m.m-1). Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 68 1156 byla vydána v listopadu 1994
