Tato třetí část normy platí pro stanovení oxidu sodného a draselného metodou plamenové spektrometrie nebo AAS ve výluzích, získaných po zkoušce odolnosti povrchu skleněných výrobků proti vodě podle ČSN 70 0529. Podstata i provedení obou metod jsou podrobně popsány. Norma obsahuje informační přílohu: "Bezpečnost a ochrana zdraví při práci", která upozorňuje na ČSN 01 8003 a na bezpečnost práce s tlakovými nádobami.
