Norma určuje postup stanovení koeficientu tepelné vodivosti stmelených i nestmelených stavebních materiálů líniových dopravních staveb metodou nestacionárního tepelného toku při teplotách, vlhkostech a objemových hmotnostech vzorků odpovídajících podmínkám v konstrukci. Názvosloví je v souladu s ČSN 72 7010. Principem zkoušky je nepřímé stanovení koeficientu tepelné vodivosti zkoušeného vzorku metodou nestacionárního tepelného toku a měrné tepelné kapacity. Je normalizováno zkušební zařízení, podmínky měření, příprava vzorků, postup při měření a jeho vyhodnocení. ČSN 72 1105 byla schválena 26.11.1990 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.11.1991
