Tato evropská norma platí pro odlitky z oceli odolné korozi pro becné použití.
Tato norma se vztahuje k odlitkům vyrobených z martenzitických, austenitických, plně austenitických a austeniticko-feritických značek ocelí charakterizovaných jejich chemickým složením (viz tabulka 1) a mechanickými vlastnosti (viz tabulka 2).
Tato evropská norma platí i v případech, když jsou odlitky navzájem svařené ve slévárně.
