Tato norma předepisuje čtyři způsoby kondicionování zkušebních těles připravených pro hodnocení odolnosti povlakových materiálů a povlakových systémů pro vnější zdivo a beton vůči povětrnostním podmínkám. Zkoušený materiál se uloží v jednom z následujících prostředí: zvýšená teplota, UV záření a vlhkost, uložení ve vodě, střídavé zmrazování a rozmrazování. Potom se hodnotí jeho vlastnosti.
