Tato norma je českou verzí evropské normy EN 1195:1997. Evropská norma EN 1195:1997 má status české technické normy. Tato evropská norma stanovuje zkušební postupy pro zjišťování chování nosných podlah, vystavených: - určitému statickému soustředěnému zatížení (vyvozenému např. osobami, nábytkem a zařízením) - určitému rázovému zatížení (způsobenému např. pohybujícími se osobami). Jsou uvažovány podlahy z prken, spárovek nebo desek na bázi dřeva, které jsou uloženy na dřevěných nosnících. Postup normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán.
