V normě jsou uvedeny zkušební postupy pro vyhodnocování těchto požadavků a informace nezbytné pro objednatele a uživatele. Norma platí pro vícefunkční řídicí přístroje s přípojkou o jmenovité světlosti nejvýše DN 150 a s maximálním provozním přetlakem nejvýše 50 kPa (500 mbar) pro hořáky a spotřebiče pro jeden druh nebo několik druhů plynných paliva první, druhé nebo třetí třídy
