Tato evropská norma určuje zkušební metodu pro stanovení mísící stability pomaluštěpných asfaltových emulzí s cementem. Dané množství asfaltové emulze a Portlandského cementu se za předepsaných podmínek smíchá a prolije přes síto. Hmotnost vyštěpeného podílu asfaltu je mírou stability. Používá se u emulzí určených pro obalování kameniva a recyklátů za studena. Nové revidované znění EN 12848:2009 upřesňuje podmínky zkoušky proti původní normě z roku 2002.
