Tato norma je českou verzí evropské normy EN 1330-3:1997. Evropská norma EN 1330-3:1997 má status české technické normy. Tato evropská norma definuje termíny používané v průmyslové radiografii. Česky, anglicky, německy a francouzsky je uvedeno názvosloví; česky je definováno cca 130 hesel. Norma obsahuje jen tyto kapitoly: kapitolu 1 - Předmět normy a kapitolu 2 - Definice. Dále norma uvádí český abecední rejstřík s českými, anglickými, německými a francouzskými názvy a informativní Národní Přílohu NA. (Tato příloha uvádí v ČR platných cca dalších 20 hesel a jejich definic, které platí v ČR podle dosud nezrušených norem.) ČSN EN 1330-3 (01 5005) byla vydána v květnu 1999.
