Tato evropská norma specifikuje metodu pro chromatografické stanovení celkového množství každého z jednotlivých chelatačních činidel EDTA, HEEDTA a DTPA v hnojivech obsahujících jednu nebo více těchto látek. Tato metoda umožňuje identifikaci a stanovení celkové koncentrace vodorozpustné frakce každého z těchto chelatačních činidel. Neumožňuje u chelatačního činidla rozlišit mezi volnou formou a formou, která váže kov. Tato metoda se používá pro hnojiva obsahující cheláty jednoho nebo více z následujících mikroelementů: ko-balt, měď, železo, mangan, zinek, s hmotnostním zlomkem alespoň 0,1 %
